It was great meeting up at our home on Tuesday 2nd October 2025, and what a lovely evening it was. Fun and laughter talking of our good old times in Zanzibar.

John & Rolina our very Special friends - we can never forget the great time you both gave us when we visited Toronto Canada followed by us all four enjoying a great holiday in Portugal. 

Oscar and Theresa it was certainly great you both joined us, we meeting Theresa for the first time and what a lovely lady, super fit by swimming daily at the posh 'David Lloyds Club' open to VIP members. (Theresa has been a member for 20 years and enjoys swimming and using the GYM daily). She certainly gave me good advice how to get back to fitness which I have taken seriously. What an all-round great knowledgeable lady. 

Oscar I remember in years gone bye, a musician who played in a good band in London, Oscar bass player.

Walter & Meralia needs no introduction, our very good friends where Walter's jokes keeps everyone in stitches and Meralia, super singer to include our Goan Konkani songs, a super cook - (dinners at her home are exceptional and she always freely shares her special recipes). Also expert at making cocktails. Always great fun at all parties.

Thanks to all making it a lovely evening with John & Rolina our guests of honour.

Wishing you a safe journey back home to Toronto Canada and convey our best wishes to all our Zanzibari friends in Toronto.

Next year we will be joining you in Zanzibar in June 2026 to celebrate the feast of St. Anthony followed by us enjoying a great holiday at Neptunes or Dreams of Zanzibar.

Hey Benny and me Betty many thanks for the wonderful evening we had at your place last evening the food and company was amazing and our pals Oscar and Theresa were very impressed and raved about your beautiful house and the food. I have provided Oscar with your number and he will keep in touch with you guys. They are a beautiful couple very nice and Oscar and Rolina’s sister Tica were classmates in Dar and he visits Toronto often and stays with Tica and we entertain him. We had a wonderful trip to London and heard mass at Westminster Cathedral and went to Harrods and Mark and Spencer store. We leave tomorrow afternoon for Toronto. Again many thanks for your lovely evening and we had a lovely 🥰 evening

Hi John and Rolina glad you’ll enjoyed the meeting today, sorry I couldn’t make it as l had my visitors from Toronto. Just dropped them to the airport as they left back to Toronto.
